The Top 10 Best Songs For Lyric Pranks

Hiyya guys x Have any of you done a lyric prank?  I'm obsessed with them! I've probably done a lyric prank to all of my contacts by now. The thing with lyric pranks is that you have to get a good song which has realistic lyrics that sound vaguely like normal conversation. So here's some songs that I've used and work so, so well and I've also put who they would be most suitable for. 1. Treat You Better - Shawn Mendes - anyone with a boyfriend/girlfriend) 2. Oath - Cher Loyd - friend (preferably if their going through a bad time) 3. Never gonna give you up - Rick Astley - boyfriend/girlfriend 4. Wings - Little Mix - friend/enemy 5. Don't Stop Me Now - Queen - friend 6. Into You - Ariana Grande - crush 7. I hate you I love you - Gnash - crush/boyfriend/girlfriend 8. See you again - Whiz Kalfa - a friend you haven't seen that day 9. Sorry - Justin Bieber - mum 10. Confident- Demi Lovato - bully So there is my top 10 list of good songs to prank p...

New Year Resolutions For 2017

Hiya guys, and happy 2017!! It's finally 2017! Whoop whoop! I know everyone is saying how bad 2016 was, with all those celebrities dying, and Brexit and all that... but actually for me it was a pretty good year! I got my first boyfriend (and my first ex but that's a different story), started y8, got my braces, done lots of dance exams, and grew a lot personally and physically. Thinking back to this time last year, I can't believe how much I have changed! Do you make New Years resolutions? I do. Most people only make three, but, being me, I have to go that extra step. Last year I did 18, but this year I did 27. Yes. 27. It's probably because there's so much in my life that I want to change... I won't bore you with all of them but here's my 5 most important ones... •have more self confidence •try and make my friend Christian •get my forward walkover •get over £20 in my bank (that doesn't sound like much but I spend faster than Taylor Swift brea...

Making The Most Of Your Christmas Holidays

Heya guys. Now Christmas has been and gone, we have a week left of holiday! Yay! But after a few days of no school it can get a bit boring, just sat around all day with nothing to do. So here's some ideas of boredom busters, some indoor and some out, that don't involve 16 episodes of your fave tv show, or endless hours on social media. Use this however you want - you could do exactly what I say or maybe add your own twist to it to adapt to what you want. I don't mind. Just have fun and make the most of your time off school! 1. Go to the park Going to the park can sound slightly boring and babyish, but especially with brothers and sisters it can be quite fun! Get rid of some energy that you're not going to use by watching tv, and burn off that chocolate while you're at it. Challenge your siblings to a race across the field or see who can swing the highest... the possibilities are endless! 2. Hit the shops Grab your purse, bag and some mates and make the mo...

Becoming A Successful Blogger: How To

Heya guys x So I know how hard it is to write a blog that people will enjoy and follow, and if you are new to blogging it can be really difficult to find viewers.  Obviously I don't have very many followers yet but I have some knowledge which can help anyone looking for advice. I have been blogging for just under two years now and I have become more confident and comfortable in it and myself as time has gone on. So here are some tips on how to become more confident and better at blogging. 1. Be chatty People like a friendly person who makes them feel at ease and happy. Use language you would use normally, use it to impress your readers not your english teacher! It might help to pretend that you're talking to your friend, so that you feel more relaxed and more cheerful. 2. Post what your viewers want to see Your viewers are only going to read your blog if the content interests them. Mine is a lifestyle blog so I post a bit of everything, with a few areas that I know mo...

5 Things Not To Do On Christmas Day

Hey guys. Doesn't everyone love christmas? I do. It's a time of year when you can relax, chill, have fun, not have to worry about school or homework or exams. However sometimes a few tiny things can just spoil the day for you and your family or friends. So here we have the ultimate list: 5 things NOT to do on christmas day. This will help you enjoy your day to the max! 1. Don't wake up too early So this can be a hard one to avoid, especially if you have over-eager younger brothers or sisters (trust me I know the struggle - I have a 10 year old brother and 2 year old sister 😬 ) or even if you are just so excited to get the day started and prezzies opened! However setting your alarm for unreal hours (we're talking 3am - thanks bro) is the first way to make you ill all day and yawning over the turkey. A few years ago I woke up at about 4 by accident and therefore became ill and lost my voice for the whole day. Not amusing. 2. Don't overeat This is an obvio...

Top 5 Makeup Products

Heyyyy x So in this post I am going to do another top 5 - this time of beauty products!  I know some people say that you shouldn't wear makeup at this age but why not? There's no harm in it! Anyway mini rant over, lets go... 1. Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara So this was actually one of the first pieces of makeup that I got, together with two other items - a lipgloss and a concealer (which will probably come up later), as it was in a 3for2 offer. Who doesn't love offers? About half the things I have bought in my life were on sale 😳 . Anyways. I love this mascara because it has the most amazing wand which distributes it equally! A lot of other mascaras that I have tried don't (probably because there was only one other which was from primark...) 2. Kiko lipstick no.902 Ok so this lipstick was recommended to me by a friend, as she has it and wears it to school everyday and looks amazing. It is the perfect shade as it is not too bold but also has an amazing shim...

Pop Song Lyrics - E

Hiya guys Sorry if i post a lot today, I can't really post regularly so I usually do a lot in one go! Today it's pop song lyrics - E. This is quite an old song, from 2013, but you'd be surprised how little (recent) songs there are beginning with E! So here we go... its Elastic Heart by Sia. And another one bites the dust But why can I not conquer love? And I might've got to be with one Why not fight this war without weapons? And I want it and I wanted it bad But there were so many red flags Now another one bites the dust And let's be clear, I trust no one You did not break me I'm still fighting for peace Well I've got thick skin and an elastic heart But your blade it might be too sharp I'm like a rubber band until you pull too hard But I may snap when I move close But you won't see me fall apart 'Cause I've got an elastic heart I've got an elastic heart Yeah, I've got an elastic heart And I will stay up th...

Best Friends Forever?

Hey people (please please please comment ideas of names for you guys🙏  ) Have you ever had one of those amazing friends who makes you smile 24/7 and you really cannot imagine your life without? I have. I do. In fact I'm having a sleepover with one now😊 She (lets call her Abi) is the one person I treasure the most in the whole world. I have known each other since we were 4 years old and ever since we have been the bestest friends in the whole wide world. I know this sounds really cringy but its true! However recently it feels like we're not such good friends anymore. Last year when we started year 7 we were put in separate halves of the year which meant that we weren't in any of each other's classes. Since then she has made a lot of friends in her classes, which of course is fine, but uses my group as a kind of backup. It feels like she only comes to us when there is no one else. Also I have a 2 year old sister (who to be fair is SUPER cute and adorable) who ...

Pop Song Lyrics - C

Heya X Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been really busy! Here comes pop song lyrics - c. Today it will be... Change Your Life by Little Mix! She captures her reflection then she throws the mirror to the floor Her image is distorted screaming, "Is it worth it anymore?" No-oh-oh Are you scared of the things that they might put you through? Does it make you wanna hide the inner you? You're not the only one so let them criticize, oh oh oh You're untouchable when you realize, oh oh oh Change, change your life, take it all We're gonna stick together, know we'll get through it all Change, change your life, take it all (yeah, take it all) You're gonna use it to become what you've always known (Become what you've always known) His body starts to flicker like nobody wants to know his name Just another soul with feelings but nobody's there to feel the pain No, no, no They can rip you, bring you down, down to their s...

Pop Song Lyrics - B

Heyyyyyyy Here comes no.2 of the pop song lyrics challenge! B is going to be ... Bad Blood by Taylor Swift!!  ...'Cause, baby, now we got bad blood  You know it used to be mad love  So take a look what you've done  'Cause, baby, now we got bad blood  Hey  Now we got problems  And I don't think we can solve them  You made a really deep cut  And, baby, now we got bad blood  Hey  Did you have to do this? I was thinking that you could be trusted  Did you have to ruin what was shiny? Now it's all rusted  Did you have to hit me, where I'm weak? Baby, I couldn't breathe  And rub it in so deep, salt in the wound like you're laughing right at me  Oh, it's so sad to think about the good times, you and I  'Cause, baby, now we got bad blood  You know it used to be mad love  So take a look what you've done  'Cause, baby, now we got bad blood  Hey  Now we got problems ...

Pop Song Lyrics - A

Hey guys x I found this thing on the web where people post every day, each day writing the lyrics of a song from A-Z, so I thought I would try it!! So todays song (A) is .... A Thousand Years by Christina Perri! Heart beats fast Colors and promises How to be brave How can I love when I'm afraid to fall But watching you stand alone All of my doubt, suddenly goes away somehow One step closer I have died everyday, waiting for you Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years I'll love you for a thousand more Time stands still Beauty in all she is I will be brave I will not let anything, take away What's standing in front of me Every breath, every hour has come to this One step closer I have died everyday, waiting for you Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years I'll love you for a thousand more And all along I believed, I would find you Time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a t...

My Top 10 Dance Music Playlist

Hey guys x I thought I would do something a bit different today, which I haven't done before... I'm going to do a 'Top 10'. And that is in quotation marks because that is now a ' thing'. If this goes well. So I'm basically going to tell you my top 10 of the given subject, and you will go and see if you like it! Please comment for me to see if it worked... 😊 So this is my top 10 of music easy to make a dance routine to, I hope you like! A lot of these are very emotional and I think that is really important when you dance, to get across the feeling and the mood of the routine as soon as possible. This is for all dance lovers like me who choreograph their own routines at home and cannot find any more songs they haven't already choreographed too (I really need one of these ;D) 💖❤ 10. 'We're all in this together' by High School Musical - just had to put this in, its a great and uplifting song, for a performance its good as a last song. This...

Book review: Girl Online and Girl Online:On Tour

Hiya guys In my last post (that I actually posted like 10 minutes ago) I said I would do a book review on both of Zoella's books. They are both really inspiring to me, as a blogger,  photographer and secondary school student, as Penny (the main character) is too. Girl Online is about a girl called Penny who has an anonymous blog which she posts on weekly. She has suffered from panic attacks since she was in a car crash as a young child, which seem to get worse as she publicly humiliates herself in front of boys and massive audiences. Penny is struggling to get back into her normal life again, until her parents announce a surprise trip to New York to organise a wedding! Her best friend Elliot helps her get through everything and anything, until she meets mystery rock-God prince Noah. Will he be the answer to her dreams, or will it all come crashing down in front of her feet? In the next book, Penny is offered the chance of a lifetime- accompanying her popstar boyfriend a...

I've been thinking...

Hiya guys 😘😘 I really need to tell you something  (🎤 I really really really really really really really like you 🎤🎤🎤😂)  No, joking. Anyway.  I'm not happy with my blog.  I don't feel like I'm connecting with my readers enough.  I feel like I'm here to provide info, but I want to be regarded as a kind of Internet friend you can ask for help on anything, and can just cheer up your day. Reading Zoella's two books (Girl Online and Girl Online:On Tour - if you don't know you should do, I might do a book review later...😀) has really inspired me, how Penny can write and the words seem to flow out of her fingers, how she always knows exactly what to say and exactly how to say it, how she connects with her readers and gets lots of lovely comments asking her for advice. I want to be like Penny.  I'll make you a deal. I will try to be more friendly and chatty to you and help you, and post a mix of interesting posts. ...

I'm Now Loving: Roll Neck Batwing Jumpers!

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Ok, it's a bit of a handful to say, (Challenge: try saying roll neck batwing jumpers 10 times as fast as you can!) but seriously they look AMAZING. Mine's grey (Isn't that the best colour for a jumper? It goes with everything...) and I wear it almost EVERYWHERE! As well as looking so stylish and now, they are so cosily gorgeous and warm. Mine is from GAP  and with the intricate knitted pattern it just fully completes any Autumn outfit. Can I just now say, I'm not going to be doing Fashion of the Week anymore because as you can see I've not done very well at keeping up with the monthly thing! Instead I'm going to do I'm Now Loving every so often without promising my readers that I will post every month. That's all for now. Bye!

Seasonal: Christmas Traditions - New and Old

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Do your family have any Christmasy traditions that you always do every year? Mine have loads. One of them, my favourite, I am going to tell you about today. Basically, instead of a normal advent calendar, we have parcels with the date on, all mixed up in a chest. Every day of advent, we (me and my little brother, and sister now,) have to find the right parcel and open it. Inside will be a note, along with some sort of object. This object might be, hmm, in fact I'll give you an example. Maybe for the 1st, we might have a note saying watch a dvd with popcorn and it might include a dvd and popcorn. Actually that's not a great example. Or if the note said go and buy a Christmas tree  it might include a bauble. That's better. But basically this gives a great build up to Christmas, like getting a present or activity everyday instead of the same small chocolate or sweet. You really should try it, we've been doing it for about 5/6 years...

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Today I want to tell you about a mega change in my life right now. I'm 11, therefore moving up to year 7 after the summer. I'm really nervous, as i'm not with many of my friends. Do you guys have any advice for me, or any of my viewers in the same situation? If so, please comment below. Thanks!

The Naughty Spoon Stealer

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Today I'm gonna show you a story I wrote when I was younger. Its short but cute, but when I'm older I want to be an author in my spare time so It'll be nice to see what you think! The Naughty Spoon Stealer The sun shone down on Summer Valley like a glittering diamond in the sky. It was a beautiful day, there was no sign of rain, or hail, or snow. As she woke up, 10-year-old Lulu Blaze was wondering just how long this wonderful weather would last, before it started pelting with rain again. “I wish this would last forever,” she sighed, pulling back the curtains. Just then her lazy, 8 year old sister Lily, groaned and slowly sat up. “Is it time for breakfast yet?” she asked greedily. As an answer to her question, a voice sounded from below; “Come down for breakfast, girls!” Mrs. Blaze called. The two sisters sprinted down the stairs as fast as lightning to the kitchen. Leaving Lulu to do all of the work, Lily panted over to the...

Fashion of the month - January

SCARVES!!! Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Scarves are an 'epic' thing to brighten up a dull top with floral patterns, or delicate designs. Scarves look so pretty, and are a great wake-up call to spring and summer fashion. I know it's only January, but it's a great thing to be thinking about getting for a few months time! Also for winter, thick, woollen scarves with matching mittens and earmuffs are amazingly cosy, and never go out of style.

Book Review - Feel The Fear

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Feel the Fear by Lauren Child is another book in the Ruby Redfort series that i've mentioned before. In this incredible tale, Ruby is facing a more ghostly adventure with Spectrum, (a secret spy organisation Ruby works for), involving unexpected burglaries, and loyalty card codes. In the first book of the series, one of Ruby's colleagues murders Valerie 'nine lives' Capaldi, right? It can't be possible for her to be alive, right? Although there is some very impossible happenings going on, in very high up places. Will Ruby face her fears and confront the enemy, or fail to prevent a thrilling finale? I'm so excited, the next book in the series is coming out soon and I can't wait to get it! Rating: 5/5 stars That's all for now, Bye!

Book Review - Anne Of Green Gables

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Anne Of Green Gables by L . M . Montgomery is a classic book about an orphan named Anne (spelt with an 'e' of course), who is adopted by Mathew and Marilla Cuthbert, although doesn't make a very good first impression as Marilla wanted a boy, to help her brother on the farm. On the contrary, a mistake occurred, meaning Anne was chosen instead. Her fate was not helped by her rather talkative nature, and ability to turn even the simplest things into a disaster. However, once she'd settled in a bit, Anne finds that she is very popular with the other students in her class and makes a lot of friends. Follow her story as she grows up in her world of imagination, religion, education and friendships in and out of lessons, until she faces the hardest exams of all. Will she pass, and win the highest honour, or fail and give up? Rating: 4/5 stars

Book Review - Girl Online

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Girl Online by Zoe Sugg (more commonly known as Zoella) is a brilliant book for teenagers , about a girl called Penny Porter, who is easily embarrassed by practically anything. She writes a blog, under the name Girl Online, that's just about the only place she feels herself. Given a one in a lifetime opportunity of a 2-week holiday to New York, Penny is delighted, but also apprehensive. Once, when she was littler, she was travelling in her car, when it suddenly flipped over! Everyone inside the car was OK, but the incident caused Penny to have sort of panic attacks whenever she felt like she did in the car that day. She was nervous - what if she had an attack on the plane? - but she went and was fine. In fact, she was more than fine, as she meets the most gorgeous boy ever, in the area she's staying in! But will the friendship last, or could something go horribly wrong? Now her new book, Girl Online: On Tour is out and is amazing! ...

Book Review - The Running Boy

Image
Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. The Running Boy is a book by Joel Toombs about a boy named Howie who fights as a soldier in WW1. The story shows how he finds love, and faces the terrors of the wars, being made to do things he really doesn't want to do. The story starts in Whitby, where Howie and his two friends Polly and Freddy watch their home town being bombed, before making up their minds to join the army. However, not everything goes to plan, and Howie is separated from his friends, and faces war alone, although he is two years under age. Will Howie face his fears alone, or set off back home to his family? Now available on amazon, or www.rocketfuelhq.com/joeltoombs. It is also available on kindle, at www.tinyurl.com/kindleTRB. The kindle edition costs £3.60, and a paperback copy is £10. Rating: 5/5 stars That's all for now, Bye!

Baking - White Chocolate and Pecan Nut Cookies!

Heya guys. I love this recipe. I've made these loads for my grandma's book group, for special occasions, or just for a rainy day treat at home. They are good for any time, although probably a bit expensive and time consuming to make for an everyday snack, but I think they work really well if you have guests. They do have a few expensive ingredients, and take a while to make, but in the end they really are worth the time and effort. Enjoy! White Chocolate and Pecan Nut Cookies makes 24 what you need: 250g of unsalted butter 100g caster sugar 200g soft light brown sugar 2 eggs 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 400g plain flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder 100g white chocolate 100g shelled and cut pecan nuts Method First, you need to cream together the butter and sugar in a mixer until they're light and fluffy. Then you add the eggs one at a time, and mix in. I always crack them seperately into mugs first, in case I get any shell in, or one of them is bad. Tu...

Fashion Of The Month: DECEMBER!!!

Image
This month's fashion is: CHRISTMAS JUMPERS!!! These are super cool in winter, with dynamic patterns to a simple reindeer with a red nose. My family all get one every year, even our new baby! Christmas jumpers don't just look epic, they keep you warm for hours, and hours, and hours. And longer! Seriously, they are the best thing ever when it comes to christmas clothes. Happy Christmas!

Baking - Pasta!

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. I loved making this recipe, because my number 1 fave meal is definitely pasta, no competition. I've had a pasta maker for a few years now, but I've never actually used it - i'ts just been stuck in the box on the kitchen shelf for 3 years. It looks really complicated in the shops and everything, but i'm telling you now, homemade is about as easy as eating it shop-bought (unless you hate it!) Trust me, it's the easiest recipe in the world, you'll see! What you need: 400g of plain/italian 00 pasta flour 4 eggs some recipes use a splash of oil and  a pinch of salt Method: First, you need to chuck all the flour into a bowl, and make a well in the centre. Crack the eggs one by one into a mug, and tip them in straight after. I do this because once my dad cracked them all straight into the bowl. One of them was bad, and he wasted the whole mixture. Whisk the eggs around with a fork, gradually incorporating the flour i...

Baking - Pumpkin Pie!

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. The first time I made this was actually this afternoon, and I thought it would be a brilliant festive, recipe to add to my blog. I loved it with a drizzle of double cream on top, to bring out the flavour now. Have fun! What you need: 750g pumpkin (peeled, deseeded and cut into chunks) 350g short crust pastry plain flour (for dusting) 140g rice malt syrup 1/2 fresh, grated nutmeg 1 tsp cinnamon 2 beaten eggs 25g melted butter 175ml milk Method: What you need to do first is preheat the oven to 160-180 degrees C. Then you put the chopped up pumpkin into a large saucepan. Cover it with the lid, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes or until softish. Drain it, and let it cool completely. Roll out the pastry onto a lightly floured surface, to line a 22cm tart tin.  Chill it for another 15 minutes.Line it with baking paper and baking beans so it doesn't go out of shape, but don't worry if you don't have any! Bake for anoth...

Baking: My Fave Mix And Match Pancakes

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. This is a simple pancake mix for an ordinary day; sometimes I choose a savoury topping for breakfast, or a sweeter one for pudding. I'll list some of my fave combinations at the bottom of the page, so you can see how to make them taste better. Here's the method for you to try out:  What you need: 1 mug wholemeal flour 1 mug whole milk 1 egg 1 or 2 tbsp chia seeds OK, this is a super simple recipe - It'll only take you a minute or two. It's enough for a family breakfast, and you have more or less depending on the size you make them. Before you start, you might want to put a small amount of oil into a medium sized saucepan - this will help the pancakes not to stick to the pan. Then, you mix all the ingredients together in a jug, then pour a small amount into your saucepan. If you want bigger pancakes, then pour more in, and vice versa. Swirl the mix around the pan for a few seconds to make it the right size, and let it coo...

Fashion Of The Month: NOVEMBER!!!

Image
This month's fashion is: DUFFEL COATS!!! Duffel coats are great to wear now, well, all the time! They never really go out of fashion but are always so stylish. I love the style because they suit everyone, and look soooo trendy, even on boys too. Once, when I was about 6 years old, I wore a pink duffel coat to school, and my BFF said that I looked like an old granny! But actually now, 5 or 6 years later, she's got one almost exactly the same! But my point is, they look great on everyone, at any time of the year. They also look epic on people of every age, from toddlers to old grannies, as I found out 5 years ago! So really, anyone and everyone can wear them to look so now!

Book Review - Clarice Bean 'Don't Look Now'

Image
Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. Clarice Bean is another Lauren Child fave at the top of my collection - alongside the other two in the series, spells trouble and utterly me. These books are about a young girl named Clarice Bean, who, like her BFF Betty Moody is obsessed with Ruby Redfort (as mentioned in another review) a schoolgirl detective. Throughout the books, Clarice has many adventures, including school plays, moving house, new teachers, and even starring in a new RR TV show! Cool, huh? Most of the time she's a normal girl, although a bit snappy with her brothers and sisters. But you would, wouldn't you, if you were the third oldest of four, with a brother who only talks to his many girlfriends, a sister who is fashion crazy, and a nitwit of another brother? I know I would! Rating: 4/5 stars  That's all for now. Bye!

Baking - Sugar-free Blueberry Muffins

Hi guys, and welcome back to my blog. These are definitely ideal for a healthy, energy boosting snack and full of goodness. Makes 12 These muffins are great for lunches, or just for an energy snack in your day. I've tried these once or twice, and they work really well with any types of berries. Berries are low in sugar comapred to most fruits. Once a month we bake a double batch of these (just double each of the ingredients) and bung them in the freezer ready to get one out for our packed lunch each day we fancy one. I love using blueberries in muffins; they taste really nice! Have fun! What you need: 1 egg 150ml of coconut oil 175ml of full-fat milk 75g of porridge oats 125g wholemeal plain flour 3 tsp baking powder 25g stevia (this is a sweetner to use instead of sugar but they also actually taste fine without any of this) 1/2 tsp mixed spice 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 250g blueberries 25g chia seeds So, how to make it. Preheat your oven to 180 degre...

Fashion of the month - OCTOBER!!!

Image
This month's fashion is: BUNS!!!  At the moment, buns are so  trendy! Especially in October, when we're all cold, they're easy to fit under your coat hood when you're out, and look brill with  a single-ended band tied around it. You can find the bands at claire's, or a similar accessories shop. My fave is black with white polka dots, but there is so many to choose from! I wear them all the time, to school, to clubs, everywhere, but they look best in a sort of doughnut shape, in a messy way, so not all neat and tidy as if you were going to ballet class or something.
